A thrilling release from Japanese single malt distillery Hakushu to mark parent company Suntory’s century of whisky-making. This has been aged for 12 years in various cask types, exactingly blended to capture the distillery character. Hakushu offers a very subtle peat quality, which here shows up in green, herbaceous, gently smoked notes. A remarkable expression from the forest distillery.
