Tobermory 27 Year Old 1995 Stiubhart 42.9% 70cl

A wonderfully-aged, independently bottled single malt from the Thompson Bros, which shines a light on Mull single malt distillery Tobermory. Distilled back in 1995 and matured in a refill hogshead, this 27-year-old has been released at natural colour and strength with no chill filtration. The beautiful bottle artwork was created by KMG.

Tasting note from Thompson Bros:

Nose: Haribo hearts, violets, peach liqueur, white tea, some linseed oil, meadow herbs and soft wet driftwood. 

Palate: Linseed, wax polish, gooseberries, unripe pear, quince. Juniper, golden raisins and balanced acidity.

Finish: Lapsang Souchong, fennel, caraway and drying oak.
