This exceptional limited-edition release from Bowmore has spent 29 years maturing in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks filled in 1991 and 1992. The Timeless series has been created to display time's effect on each cask in the distilleries Islay location.
Nose: Sherry-soaked raisins, candied orange peel dipped in dark chocolate and a hint of liquorice.
Palate: Christmas cake, red fruits and more chocolate, all contrasting with waves of coastal peat.
Finish: long lasting, drying peat and a sprinkling of sea salt.
