Port Askaig 28 Year Old  45.8% 70cl Islay Single Malt

This is almost gone with the last case available for our web shop.

Nose: Rather bold on the nose with an incredible richness, oily with a hint of old leather and parchment, some fresh cut pine and smouldering smoke, fresh sourdough rolls and hints of olive oil.

Palate: The age shines through from the first sip, Citrus and a creamy citrus flows across the palate, citrus notes fade into a chocolate and spice tone as this dram opens flavour after flavour, smoked woody notes and rich creamy flavours, a building rich Maritime flavour builds on the palate, smoke and soft peat, tangy rich and lingering on the exquisite finish.
