A youthful expression from Islay's celebrated Caol Ila distillery, matured for four years in a first-fill rivesaltes cask. Rivesaltes is a fortified wine from the South of France. It imparts a similar rich, fruit forward flavour profile as a sherry cask, but with an abundance of strawberries and red fruits. A match made in heaven with Caol Ila's vibrantly smoky spirit - and a fitting addition to the Soho Selection collection.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Strawberry jam, tar and smoked game

Palate: Bold and rich with fruits, toffees and smouldering coal

Finish: Meats and smoke dominate a very long finish of sweet fruits
