Please come & join us on Thursday 25th January to celebrate Burns night!
Robert Burns, also known as Rabbie Burns, the Bard of Ayrshire, Ploughman Poet and various other names and epithets, was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide.
"Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
and auld lang syne?
For auld lang syne, my jo,
for auld lang syne,
we’lltak' a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne"
Our "cup o kindness" floweth from the wonderful Douglas Laing, one of our favourite independent bottlers, who will be bringing along 6 whiskies for this fantastic event, along with haggis, kilts, and all things Scotland so that we can celebrate in true highlander style.
